Hi and thank you for choosing Dark New England as your source for info on all things spooky. For those of you who don't know what we are, here is a little explanation of a long story.
Our main goal at DNE is to make it as easy as possible to figure out what fall activity you want to do or what haunted attraction would best suit your preferences. In just a few clicks you can pick what state you would like to browse and then pick what haunt or activity you'd like to visit, be able to click on their web page, and purchase tickets directly.
We started as just a group of friends who love haunted houses, love abandoned buildings, and of course love all things spooky. One day I decided, hey you know what would be a good idea, Let's make a group on Facebook where everyone can share local haunts, abandoned places, Halloween decorated yards, or anything similar that will keep Halloween going year-round.
Let's show people there's more out there to visit and give them insight on what their options are and while we are at it let's try to make some ticket giveaways to help some people save money and have a good night out.
Fast forward 4 years and now we are a premier source to find where the haunts are around all of New England, from indoor and outdoor, hayrides, ghost tours, corn mazes, and more.
To us, Halloween is not just something fun to do with the kids but it's something everyone can do with family, friends, and significant others. For the haunt owners, it's something that takes a lot of hard work, dedication, preparation, determination, imagination, creativity, exhaustion, and most importantly the right people by your side to make it all come to fruition. When you go to any haunt BIG OR SMALL FREE OR NOT respect and really look at all of what goes into a haunt.
Remember a bunch of hard-working people get together every year to build bigger and better than previous years but most importantly for all others to see and enjoy, while at the same time making memories and bringing people together.
